Professional Therapist office refresh within an historic building, working with a modest budget and short timeline

Scope of work :

Create a comfortable and visually calm therapy office within an historic building. The Challenges: no physical or electrical renovations could be made. We were allowed to paint throughout and refinish the existing damaged wood flooring - for budget and aesthetic reasons, we opted to restore the wood to its former glory, while adding a rug for softness and acoustic value.

The final design package included Drawings + new Finishes, Furniture, Lighting, Window Treatments, and Art - all within the Client's budget.

Within this Boston Historic Building, my Client wanted a complete refresh of his leased office: on a modest budget and with the understanding that no interior architectural components, mechanical, electrical, windows, doors, trims, or otherwise, could be modified

Low Impact / High Reward Cosmetic Renovations: Strip and Stain the existing Wood Plank Subfloor, New Paint throughout, large area rug and a mix of new and Client's existing furnishings were employed to create the desired calm, meditative, and visually 'quiet' space
